ABOUT
The drums we’ll create are made of animal hide and wooden drum frame. You’ll receive this and all necessary tools to create your drum on the workshop.
Be ready to work with animal hide, which might have a strong smell after being dipped in the water to soften before the drum making.
The drum creation process is intense physically, and it also triggers a deep inner process of the future drum holder.
Lu Ka will guide you through the whole process and help out with the physically more intense part (adjusting the animal hide on the drum frame).
After the drums are created, they will need to dry until July 9th (Tuesday), just before starting the Shamanic Heart Healing, Level 3. It’s then when you will cut their umbilical cords, and birth your drums into life.

The workshop will be presented in English and German language.

The workshop will be held at Haus Der Pyramiden (Erzhausen – Frankfurt area) in Germany.

The fee covers: drum frame, rawhide for the drumhead, material for drumsticks, all additional crafting supplies, instructions, guidance, ceremonial work.
Additional costs: 45 EUR (daily fee)

The daily rate covers vegetarian food (30 EUR), including fresh bread with homemade spreads, salad, soup or dessert at noon, coffee&cake in the afternoon, and 15 Euro for the technical equipment, workshop space and taxes.
Accommodation/hotel and dinner are not included in the price.
